Jenifer is a 27 year-old production manager, photographer, video producer, academic and activist, whose work focuses on education, migration, environmental issues and human perception.
Graduated with a degree in English and International Studies from Aalborg University in 2018 and an MA in Cognitive Semiotics & Aesthetics from Aarhus University in 2020. She spent most of 2020 researching and writing her MA dissertation with the title “Climate Migration in Danish News Media: Towards the Recognition of ‘Climate Refugees’ in Denmark”. During her studies, she worked closely with Kvindemuseet (The Women’s Museum) to develop an art and photography project with the aim of highlighting stories of refugee women in Denmark.
Her aspiration as a photographer is to document and highlight the stories of refugees in their host countries as well as write and produce educational content for the popular science audience.
